Trina just got voted women of the year and is our current rotary club president
Patsy runs the Red Cross and has been running around helping so many families who have been affected by the flooding
Martha, where to start! She is in charge of the high school students in their version of rotary for the youth called Interact.
Ron who is a retired teacher but continues to host music festivals around town, he is also facilitating our annual camping trip in the Santa Cruz mountains! Always a great reminder to disconnect.

Tonight Freedom Rotary gathered to celebrate Judy stabile and granted her a Paul Harris award for her work in the Pájaro Valley & Watsonville 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We are excited to see how she transforms their new, much larger space in the coming years. They still have a lot of money to be raised to achieve their goals. Visit the Pajaro Valley Arts gallery to tour the exhibits and donate to a good cause :)

Our rotary club is full of community members of amazing nonprofits. One of them is Nayeli Mercado who helps families in need at the @salvationarmywatsonville everyday!
When asked what is the #1 most urgent necessity from flood victims, she said “MONEY FOR HOTEL VOUCHERS!”
Many of the people she sees everyday who come to the Salvation Army looking for a hot meal, shelter, blankets, and direction, are tenants who have been impacted by the floods. There is a still a long journey for them whether is is waiting to go back to their current home or having to find new housing since their current home has water damage and is in disrepair.
Know what every bit of funds collected through our rotary Venmo will go directly to the Watsonville Salvation Army and will be used for hotel housing vouchers, so families have a clean place to rest their heads 🙏🏼.
Every bit helps! If you do not have Venmo and would like to donate, send us a message and we can coordinate.

Did you know there are more women in our club than men? Crazy to think that only 33 years ago women were not allowed in club!!! Look at us today!!
This!➡️The 1989 Council on Legislation voted to admit women into Rotary clubs worldwide remains a watershed moment in the history of Rotary
And the rest was history! 💃🏼🙋🏼‍♀️🤸‍♀️

Enjoy an intimate evening of listening and dancing to the music of @alexluceromusic Alex Lucero and the Live Again Band while raising money for the brave people of Ukraine, who need our help. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
The goal of the event is to raise at least $5,500 for Freedom Rotary to donate generators through an existing Rotary International Program.
Each generator costs $550. We are trying to contribute 10 generators, but for every $550 we raise above our goal we will generate an additional generator.
Tickets are $65 per person. Music and appetizers are included. Wine from @elvaquerowinery by the glass or bottle is additional with 30% of all beverages sales being contributed to the cause.
Attendance is limited to 12 tables with 8 people each.
Companies and groups are encouraged to make a single transaction purchase of 8 tickets to reserve a full table and have your group listed as a SPONSOR in social media for the event and on a banner at the venue.
We will contact ticket buyers to solicit and honor requests to seat with fellow ticket buyers.

Manny Solano and his co-presenter, Juan Cervantes are retired law enforcement and are working for a consulting company which trains people and businesses in the above and other situations.

She has been working non-stop helping flood victims and families in need. She has been working tirelessly connecting people affected by the recent storms with the right tools and professionals.
